How our business templates work.
Your data stays in your browser: the document is generated on your device and nothing you type is sent to or stored on our servers.
Running a small business means producing the same documents again and again: a proposal to win the work, a quote to price it, an invoice to get paid, a receipt to confirm the payment, an agreement when a customer needs time to pay, a resolution when the owners make a decision. These business templates cover that paperwork, and each one opens in a generator instead of a blank file.
The process is the same for every template. You answer a short form written in plain English, the document updates as you type, and you download it as a PDF to send or as a Word file to keep editing. Documents with figures, such as invoices, quotes and payment schedules, also export to Excel with working formulas, so totals keep calculating if you change a line. There is no account, no trial and no watermark on the files.
Your information stays on your device. The documents are assembled in your browser, which means the names, amounts and addresses you type are never sent to or stored on our servers. You can optionally keep a draft in your own browser to finish later.
Use the filter to narrow the list by category: agreements and contracts, real estate, finance and billing, corporate, and shipping. Each template page also explains how to write the document step by step, what each clause or section means, and answers the questions people most often ask about it, with a filled-in example you can load into the generator.
The legal templates are general starting points, not legal advice. Rules differ from one state to another, so have a licensed attorney review any agreement that matters to you before you sign it.
